Psychedelic experiences can be profound, expansive, & overwhelming at times. Psychedelic Integration Therapy offers a safe space to process a past psychedelic experience in order to come to a greater understanding of it.

People may seek Psychedelic Integration Therapy because…

  • They want to increase the chance of a psychedelic experience leading to lasting positive change in day to day life

  • They revisited past trauma during a psychedelic experience and need support processing the trauma in a way that is healing rather than re-traumatizing

  • They had a “bad trip” that has been difficult to shake off

  • They want to deepen their understanding of a profound spiritual experience

  • They value their psychedelic experience and want support integrating their experiences from non-ordinary states of consciousness into ordinary consciousness

  • They want to talk to someone who understands, won’t judge them, and can hold safe space for anything that arises

People experiencing a different perspective than usual by gazing up at the crowns of trees

Psychedelic Integration Therapy & Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Integration (Gorman et al., 2021) are not the same as Psychedelic Assisted Therapy. Psychedelic Integration Therapy processes a client’s past experience, which may have occurred in a therapeutic, intentional, ceremonial, or recreational context. Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Integration therapy is an ethical framework for discussing a client’s independently planned psychedelic use and is intended to help a client reduce the risk of potential harm from a potential psychedelic experience. Akasha Wellness does not provide illegal substances to clients, nor do we promote or encourage their use. We do provide a safe, judgment-free space where you can freely share whatever your past experience with any substance may have been.

You may find the support you need in as little as one session, or processing your psychedelic experience may open the door to a longer healing journey. Whichever the case, it would be a privilege to walk part of your journey alongside you.
